Let’s be real—choosing a breast pump can be overwhelming with all the options out there (I’ve been there!). There are definitely some pumps that are covered by insurance, so that’s a helpful place to start when you’re looking. But if you’re always on the go, you’re going to want to be sure to look into a wearable pump, as they can be a game-changer.
The bummer is, insurance doesn’t always cover the full cost of those wearable options. But, they’ll often cover up to a certain amount and then you pay the difference – so don’t totally disregard these options!
As you are considering a wearable, you’re going to find that the Eufy S1 Pro breast pump stands out. It’s one of my top picks for a portable pump with affordable options that truly delivers when you need it most (milk, right? 😉). Let me tell you why it might just be the perfect fit for you!

But before we dive into all the things about the Eufy Breast Pump – Who is The Labor Mama and Why Am I Here?
Hey friend! I’m Lo – also known around here and social media as The Labor Mama. I’ve spent my nursing career in labor, delivery, and postpartum, have birthed 4 of my own babies, have labored thousands of mamas at the bedside, have taught thousands of students online, and have even delivered a few speedy little babies with my bare hands (oops).
Here at TLM, I offer online classes about birth, postpartum, newborn care, and breastfeeding to empower you the way everyone should be. The education + support I offer gives you experience, evidence, and empathy; you’re getting all of my years of “clinical” RN knowledge, honestly combined with my real experiences as a mama, nurse, and CLC. These are not your average hospital classes (those won’t do it, I promise), and honestly, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding don’t follow a textbook or protocol anyway. You need to know so much more than that!

What Is The Eufy Breast Pump?
The Eufy breast pump lineup (of which there are 3) are all wearable (or wireless) options, which means no exterior tubing, wires, or fuss. The battery and motor hub are connected right to the flanges and milk collection chambers, so the entire setup fits comfortably inside your bra, keeping you fully mobile while you’re pumping. This kind of flexibility can make a huge difference, especially if you’re managing multiple tasks (or kiddos!) at once.
Now, let’s talk about those three different versions of the Eufy Breast Pump:
- Eufy E10
This is the most basic version of the pump. It’s the most affordable, but it doesn’t include the heating feature that the S1 and S1 Pro models have, and it also comes with different flanges. While it might be a good choice for some moms, I can’t personally speak to its effectiveness since I haven’t tried it. - Eufy S1
The S1 is a step up from the E10 and very similar to the S1 Pro. You get most of the same features that the Pro has, including the heating function, which can be helpful in promoting letdown and keeping pumping comfortable. The main difference? It doesn’t come with the charging case, which makes the Pro version even more convenient if you’re always on the go or just like knowing you’re fully charged whenever you need it. - Eufy S1 Pro
This review is all about the S1 Pro, the top-tier model. With the S1 Pro, you’re getting all the features that Eufy offers, including charging cases, which help keep your pumps powered up without needing to hunt down an outlet. This feature alone can make life a little easier, especially if you’re pumping regularly or during a busy day out and about.
* Aside from my thoughts about the charging case, you can apply all my other feelings to the Eufy S1 too!
So, if you’re considering a wearable pump that allows for both mobility and comfort, the S1 Pro is worth a closer look. Now, let’s get into the features of the pump, and why it might just be the right pump for you!
Key Features of the Eufy S1 Pro Breast Pump
Let’s get into the specifics of what makes the Eufy S1 Pro stand out in the world of wearable breast pumps. These features are designed to make pumping easier, more comfortable, and adaptable to your needs.
Fully Wireless and Wearable
The S1 Pro is completely wireless and wearable, meaning you have zero cords, tubing, or external pieces to worry about. You can slip it right into your bra and carry on with your day—whether that’s folding laundry, running errands, or just having your hands free while pumping. If you’ve ever felt limited by traditional pumps, this freedom can be a real game-changer.
Charging Case
One of the unique perks of the S1 Pro is that it comes with a convenient charging case, setting it apart from the S1 and E10 models. This case makes it even easier to charge your pumps on the go. Just pop them into the case, and you’re all set—no need to plug into an outlet unless you choose to. This case can keep you powered up for up to five days, perfect if you’re pumping regularly throughout the day or traveling.
USB-C Charging Option
If you’re not using the case or just prefer a different charging method, the pumps also come with USB-C charging capability. This option is especially convenient if you’re already carrying a USB-C charger for other devices. Simply plug in the hubs and charge wherever you are—no case needed.
Battery Life
Battery life is another strong point of the Eufy lineup. The S1 Pro, when used with the charging case, can last up to five days without needing a recharge, which is ideal for a busy mama. The S1 and E10 models typically last between 4-6 pumping sessions per charge, depending on whether you’re using the heating function with the S1 and how often you’re pumping.
HeatFlow Technology
The S1 and S1 Pro models feature Eufy’s exclusive HeatFlow Technology. This technology warms the part of the silicone flange that sits against your breast, helping promote letdown and making the pumping experience a bit more comfortable. If you’ve found traditional pumping to be uncomfortable or have struggled with letdown, this gentle heating feature may make a noticeable difference for you.
Eufy Baby App Compatibility
With the Eufy Baby app, you can adjust pump settings right from your phone. The app pairs seamlessly with the pump, allowing you to monitor session details, track milk output, and even customize your pump’s settings to meet your needs. Whether you’re pumping on the go or just want an easier way to manage your sessions, this app integration makes life a little simpler.
OptiRhythm Smart Pumping
The S1 Pro also features OptiRhythm technology, which uses smart pumping settings to mimic baby’s natural nursing rhythm. This includes various cycle speeds and vacuum strengths that let you customize your pumping pattern to maximize output. For mamas who find they respond better to certain rhythms, this flexibility can make all the difference.
Thoughtful Design and Leak-Proof Fit
Eufy has clearly put a lot of thought into making this pump both functional and practical. The design is sleek and leak-proof, with a more secure fit than some earlier versions of other wearable pumps. It’s discreet enough to wear comfortably under clothing, and the design minimizes the chances of leaks, even during longer pumping sessions.
Medical-Grade Silicone Flanges and Multiple Inserts
The S1 Pro comes with medical-grade silicone flanges and several insert sizes to ensure you have a comfortable fit. This fit is essential for both comfort and effective milk extraction, and Eufy’s variety of sizes allows for a more personalized experience.
5-Ounce Milk Collection Capacity
Each chamber holds up to 5 ounces of milk, which is an impressive capacity for a wearable pump. This larger volume means you won’t need to empty the chambers as frequently, which is helpful when you’re busy or in the middle of other tasks.
“Hospital-Grade” Suction: A Note
Okay, here’s a bit of honesty—many pumps claim “hospital-grade suction,” but this term is used pretty loosely in the industry and isn’t actually regulated. In reality, true hospital-grade pumps have specific wavelengths, programming, and settings that most at-home pumps just don’t replicate. Hospital-grade pumps are also multi-user, whereas most wearable pumps, like the Eufy S1 Pro, are designed for single-user settings. That said, the Eufy S1 Pro offers strong suction and varied speed settings that come close, and most mamas will find it more than adequate for their daily pumping needs.
Who Is the Eufy S1 Pro For?
If you’re wondering whether the Eufy S1 Pro breast pump could be a good fit, here’s a quick rundown of who might benefit most from this wearable pump:
- Breastfeeding Moms
For any breastfeeding mom looking to supplement nursing with a little more flexibility, the Eufy S1 Pro is an excellent option. Its wearable, hands-free design offers the convenience and freedom to pump wherever and whenever you need—no bulky equipment or setup required. - Moms with Multiples
If you’re a mom of twins, triplets, or more, then hands-free is practically a necessity. Having the option to pump while managing your little ones means you’re not stuck in one place or limited by cords. This pump lets you stay mobile and gives you the flexibility to multitask during the day. - Frequent Travelers
Whether you’re traveling for work or for fun, a wearable pump is a game-changer. The Eufy S1 Pro’s compact size, wireless function, and convenient charging case make it a perfect travel companion. You don’t have to search for a private space or worry about finding an outlet; just slip it in your bag and go. - Exclusive Pumpers Who Want Mobility
For mamas who are exclusively pumping, mobility is key. While many exclusive pumpers rely on powerful at-home pumps, the Eufy S1 Pro is a great option for those moments when you need to pump on the go. You get the mobility of a wearable without sacrificing the efficiency and consistency that regular pumpers need. - Working Moms Outside the Home
If you’re back at work and juggling pumping on top of a busy schedule, the Eufy S1 Pro can make your day easier. Its discreet, leak-proof design means you can pump at your desk, during meetings, or even in your commute without needing a private room or complicated setup. - Tech-Savvy, App-Loving Moms
If you’re someone who loves using apps to track your habits and stay organized, the Eufy S1 Pro has you covered. The Eufy Baby app lets you customize your settings, monitor sessions, and track milk output with ease. While the app isn’t necessary for pumping, it’s a great bonus feature if you enjoy the convenience of digital tracking. There’s also a Facebook group you can access directly from the app for support.
The Eufy S1 Pro can be a fantastic choice for anyone who wants the freedom to pump on their terms, wherever and whenever they need. In the next section, I’ll share my personal experience with this pump and what you can expect if you give it a try!
Pros and Cons of the Eufy S1 Pro Breast Pump
When it comes to finding the right breast pump, every feature counts—and with the Eufy S1 Pro, there’s a lot to love, along with a few things to consider. I’ve broken down what I see as the biggest pros and cons to help you get a real sense of how this pump performs in everyday life. From convenience to comfort and a few design quirks, here’s what you can expect with the Eufy S1 Pro.
Pros
- The Charging Case
The charging case is one of the standout features that makes the S1 Pro worth the investment—especially if you’re often on the go. Here’s how it works: charge the case itself, and then, when you’re between pumping sessions, pop the pump motor hubs into the case, and they’ll recharge automatically! No extra cords or outlets needed, which is a huge plus for workdays, travel, or just busy days out. Now, a heads-up—this case isn’t waterproof. So, if you’re using the fridge hack to store the pump parts between uses, you’ll need a separate bag or container for the wet parts to avoid moisture in the case. - HeatFlow Technology
While not a necessity, the HeatFlow feature is a really cool bonus. Research shows that gentle heat can help encourage milk flow, so having built-in warmth while you pump can be a nice extra touch. Plus, with adjustable heat settings, you can find the level that feels best for you. Just note that using the heat feature will slightly shorten battery life—something to keep in mind for long days. Honestly, I’ve loved this feature for late night pumping sessions when it’s dark and cool and I want to be cozy. - Preset Suction Patterns in the App
Eufy’s app includes four preset pumping patterns that blend stimulation and expression modes in unique ways. This lets you test which combination works best for your body and milk output without needing to toggle modes manually. You can also set the length of your pumping session and choose the heat level right in the app. If you prefer manual control, though, you can adjust everything (suction, heat, switching modes) directly on the pump hub. - Comfortable, High-Quality Flanges
Eufy really did something right with their flange design! Made from food-grade silicone, the flanges are soft, comfortable, and stay in place without any friction or pulling. I’ve had zero leaks, and they’re snug without feeling too tight. This level of comfort isn’t something I’ve seen in all pumps, so it’s a definite win for Eufy. - Quiet Sound
These pumps are refreshingly quiet! Compared to others I’ve used, the Eufy S1 Pro barely makes a peep, which can be a lifesaver in quiet settings or if you’re pumping at work or at night. - Stable Design
This might sound like a minor detail, but I love that the pumps are sturdy and stand on their own when you’re not using them. It makes transferring milk to bottles or bags so much easier without the risk of spills.
Cons
- The Price
There’s no sugarcoating it: the S1 Pro, with its charging case, is on the pricier side. If you’re planning to pump mainly at home, you might not need the case feature, in which case the S1 model (without the case) could be a more budget-friendly choice. - Bluetooth Compatibility
If you’re wary of Bluetooth technology near your body, this pump might not be for you. The app is handy but not essential, and for those who prefer to minimize Bluetooth use – particularly on the breasts, this could be a downside—especially if you’re pumping for long periods each day. - Limited App Features on the Hub
While the pump can be used manually, it’s a bit frustrating that the full range of features is only accessible through the app. You can adjust basic settings on the hub, but if you want the whole suite of options, you’ll need to open the app. Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you’re looking for complete control without the app. - Short Flange Tunnels
The flange tunnels are on the shorter side, which might be an issue if you have elastic nipples, as they could hit the end. That said, there’s a soft silicone backflow protector at the end, so it’s not uncomfortable, but it’s worth noting. - Flange Insert Sizes
The pump includes a 24mm flange with inserts for 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm, but currently, larger sizes aren’t available. So if you typically need a flange larger than 24mm, you might need an alternative. - Time Constraints with Preset Rhythms
The app’s preset rhythms only allow for 5-minute increments (5, 10, 15 minutes, etc.), which isn’t ideal if you like to wean off by adjusting the duration gradually (which is how I like weaning). You can always turn the pump off manually to end the session, but more flexible time options in the app would be helpful. - Limited Collection Volume Control
The pump doesn’t automatically turn off if you hit the 5-ounce limit, so if you tend to pump more, be aware that you’ll need to keep an eye on it to avoid overflow. Personally, this hasn’t been an issue, but it’s something to watch out for if you pump larger volumes. - Assembly Precision
Getting the pump back together can be a bit finicky. The flange has a precise fit to accommodate the heating element, so it takes a moment to align everything just right. It’s not a huge issue, but can be a little frustrating until you get the hang of it. - Visibility During Placement
Like many wearable pumps, the Eufy can be a bit tricky to line up around the nipple and areola, especially since the parts aren’t clear. Here’s a tip: lean forward and let your breast hang as you position the flange (place it at the bottom of the breast and kind of roll it up to cup over the nipple), then stand back up. This can make the placement process much easier and help ensure a secure fit.
Is This Pump Worth It?
After trying a range of wearable and portable pumps, I can honestly say the Eufy S1 Pro is one of my favorites. Between the charging case and the heating element, it’s packed with thoughtful features that make a difference, especially if you’re often on the go or just want a little extra comfort while pumping. If the charging case isn’t a must for you, I’d totally understand choosing the S1 model instead—same great pump, just a bit more budget-friendly without the case.
One common concern with wearables is that they often produce less milk output than traditional pumps. Thankfully, this hasn’t been my experience with the Eufy S1 Pro. With the different modes and settings in the app, I’ve been able to get just as much output as I do with other pumps. For me, that reliability makes a big difference.
Beyond performance, the Eufy also excels in fit and comfort. It’s discreet enough to wear under clothing, the flanges are soft and comfortable against the skin, and I haven’t had any issues with leaks. The snug, secure fit helps me feel confident that I can pump without worry—whether I’m at home, at work, or out and about.
I also recommend wearing it with one of my favorite bras for pumping with the Eufy. Wearables can be heavy but these are GREAT at holding them in. I wear these bras all the time when I’m not pumping too. 100% recommend!
All in all, if you’re looking for a wearable pump that combines mobility, comfort, and consistent output, the Eufy S1 Pro is a pump that I would recommend!
Some final thoughts on the Eufy S1 Pro breast pump…
Overall, the Eufy S1 Pro offers a winning combination of convenience, comfort, and reliable performance. With thoughtful features like the charging case, HeatFlow technology, and smart app integration, it’s designed to make pumping as seamless as possible—whether you’re at home or on the go. While the investment may be higher than some other options, the flexibility and added comfort might just be worth it, especially if you’re looking for a pump that supports your busy lifestyle.
Whether you choose the Pro model or go for the S1, the Eufy line delivers a great experience for wearable pumping. For me, it’s become a go-to option that fits well into the daily routine and keeps up with the demands of modern motherhood. If you’re looking for a reliable, wearable pump that truly works with you, the Eufy S1 Pro is definitely one to consider!
